Day 01: Arrive Paro: (Altitude 2320 m)   Your designated guide from Yak Adventure Travel will receive you at the Airport and drive you to Thimphu.   Check in at the hotel and refreshments will be served. Once you reach Thimphu, visit the tallest Buddha Statue in the World and then take a walk in Kuenselphodrang Park, followed by a visit to the National Memorial Chorten (1974) built in honour of the third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.   After lunch visit the Folk Heritage Museum and Motithang Takin Preserve where you will see the national animal of Bhutan. Then head for a stroll in the market and to shops which sell Authentic Bhutanese products. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.  
Day 02 Thimphu Sightseeing: (Altitude: 2320 m)   After breakfast hike to Cheri Monastery, the first monastery built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.   Rest and lunch will be served at the hotel.   After lunch, visit Simtokha Dzong and Tashichhodzong. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.  
Day 03 Thimphu - Punakha: (Altitude 1310 m, 74 Kms, 3 hours drive).   After breakfast drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. We shall stop for a while at Dochula pass to view the Higher Himalayas and the 108 stupas. The views along the route itself are beautiful and you will experience the change in vegetation and altitude when you reach Dochula.   When in Punakha, a visit to Chimi Lhakhang (The Temple of Fertility), which was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley in 15th century.   After lunch take a short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, a four-storied stupa. Dinner and overnight halt at the hotel.  
Day 04 Punakha – Trongsa:(Altitude 3120 m, Distance152kms)   After breakfast visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery and Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of Pho Chu (Male river) and Mo Chu (Female river).   Lunch and drive to Trongsa via Pelela pass. Stop for refreshment at Pelela pass.   Dinner and overnight halt at the hotel.
Day 05 Trongsa – Bumthang: (Altitude 2800 m, 68 Kms)   Breakfast and visit Trongsa Dzong built in 1644 followed by Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower which is now converted into the National Museum.   Drive to Bumthang via Yotongla Pass. Check in at the hotel and lunch.   We shall then visit Jambay lhakhang and then visit Kurjey Lhakhang that is named after the body print of Guru Rimpoche, built in 1652 by Minjur Tempa.   Followed by a visit to the Red Panda Beer factory and Cheese factory.   Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 Excursion to UgyenCholing Palace (Altitude 2800 m) After breakfast, visit Membartsho (Burning Lake) where Terton Pema Lingpa discovered several of Guru Rimpoche’s hidden Terma / relics here.   On the way towards Ugyen Choling Palace visit Bapzur, an ancient house that belonged to a very rich man of that area.   Packed lunch shall be served.   Dinner and overnight halt at the guest house of Ugyen Choling Palace.
Day 07 Bumthang – Gangtey: (Altitude 3120)   After breakfast drive to Gangtey and stop a while at Lawala Pass.   In Gangtey follow one of the most popular trails from where you can explore the Phobjikha valley famous for the endangered Black Necked Cranes which migrate to the Phobjikha valley during winter.   Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.  
Day 08 Gangtey – Paro: (Altitude 2280 m)   Breakfast and drive back to Paro via Dochula Pass.   Check in at the hotel and drive to the ruins of the Drukgyal Dzong built in 1647.   Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 Paro, Excursion to Taktsang Monastery: (Altitude 2280 m)   After breakfast a short drive takes us to the base of Tiger’s nest. Explore the ramparts and on a clear day experience a spectacular view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m).   Then we shall hike to Tiger’s nest and along the way, stop for a while for refreshments at the Taktsang Jakhang (cafeteria) and then walk a short distance until we see, clearly and seemingly within reach, Taktsang monastery. Tigers Nest is one of the must visit places in Bhutan. On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan king Songsen Gampo.   Dinner at farmhouse along with traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 Departure (Altitude 2280 m)   After breakfast, drive to the airport.
