Entering into the famous festival season, you will be able to witness several mask dances, traditional folk songs and dances and see people in their best traditional wear.
It is also the best season to go on nature treks. We will take you on excursions to some of the most scenic valleys, walk in between the woods and hikes to some of the holiest temples like Taktsang (Tiger’s nest), Cheri Monastery and Chimmi Lhakhang.
When in Bhutan, one should not miss out on Bhutanese cuisine. Taste the hot Ema datshi (Chilli Cheese), red rice and butter tea. And as the day ends, relax in a traditional hot stone bath, sampling some fine ara (local wine) and ease yourself listening to enchanting Bhutanese music.
