Nimalung Lhakhang, located in Bumthang observes its festival on 5^th month of the Bhutanese calendar for three consecutive days. The main relics preserved in the lhakhang includes statue of Guru Rinpoche, the wall paintings are of Nyingmapa and Drukpa traditions, paintings of Guru Rinpoche and his disciples and several masters affiliated with the temple. The entire festival is observed with series of mask dances along with the unfurling of nine meters high and twelve meters wide Guru Rinpoche Thongdrol (large Scroll Painting).
